Pre-Colombian

I bought this poncho a couple of months ago while I was in Colombia. I love the way the different patterns interweave throughout. I added the belt to make it a bit more form fitting but have also worn the poncho with a sweater underneath and boyfriend jeans for a cute laid back look!

Trenzas!!

Trenzas, Trenzas, Trenzas! Braids, Braids, Braids! I love them! Braids are such an easy way to transform a look. They go with anything and match any occasion. You can be lounging at the beach to walking the red carpet. Braids bring that extra pizazz! There are also tons of ways to wear them; so, you won't feel like you're recycling the same look. From french, fishtail, braid bun, to a plain jane braid, the possibilities are endlessly chic!

Maxi Love

It's Monday!! Man, do the weekends just fly by or what?! I hope y'all are having an amazing day back in reality!

Let me just say I'm in love with this maxi skirt. I bought it on a whim like a year ago and have just added it to my fave things to wear rotation! It's so light and airy plus the pattern is super fun. It lends itself to many different looks and the fact that it has pockets is amazing! I'm loving this weather we're having here in Texas. Spring is in the air and just in time for SXSW. Hopefully it sticks around!

Friday Faves!

Wow, I cannot believe it's March already! It seems like this year is flying by! Which means that we are that much closer to Spring and Summer! So excited for lazy days out by the pool or ocean!

To kick off my Friday Faves, I'm starting with a Delia's dress I've been eyeing for a couple of weeks. I love the floral pattern and the high-low detail!

Another item on my wishlist is a leopard print belt. I've seen quite a few of my fave bloggers and fashionistas rocking one lately and am obsessed! You can pair it with just about anything from pants to dresses.

Next on my list are a pair of leather engineer boots from Target. They are too cute! They look a lot more expensive than they are and have tons of amazing reviews! Plus you can wear them all year round. Might have to bite the bullet and purchase these babies!

I am also on the hunt for a cover for my Kindle. I won it at my office Christmas party and have not been able to put it down! It's so handy. Don't get me wrong, I still love real books (I'll never leave them behind) but, having a Kindle make things so much easier, especially for traveling and getting the next book in a series I'm reading immediately--sometimes you cannot wait to get it from the store/mail! These are two of my faves! What do you think? Anyone have a fabulous cover I should check out?
