Layers!

Hey Loves! Welcome back to reality! I hope y'all had an amazing Thanksgiving Break! I loved every second of it! Getting to spend quality time with friends and family is the best! Now that the weather is changing you have to adapt your clothing as well! I, for one, am in love with maxi skirts and dresses! One simple way to get them to transition into the colder months is layering! I layered a gingham shirt and neon jean jacket over my maxi dress to make it warm enough to keep in my clothes rotation! Layering is definitely a simple and cute way to keep some of your summer favorites in your winter wardrobe!

Hint of Leopard!

Hey dolls! I cannot believe that it is already the last week of June! Time is flying by! I seriously cannot get a grip on what day it is. The months just sneak up on me! I had a pretty fun weekend! I hung out with friends and went to see Brave! Such a cute movie! Love the main character! I'm such a kid at heart! ;)

Friday Faves!

Friday is back again! That sneaky devil finallyyyyy showed up! Hahaha I'm pretty excited for the weekend. Mostly just for the pleasure of sleeping in! Check out some of the things I'm lusting over this week!

First, I seriously, seriously, seriously missed the memo on stripes! I think I may have like one striped sweater in my closet?! What?! I need to get a striped top like yesterday!

Another must on my list is a pair of white denim skinnies! I love their crisp clean look. I've been writing about needing a pair in my closet all over the bloggersphere, but haven't bit the bullet! Maybe this weekend? I think, YES!

Another denim piece that keeps popping up is the denim jacket! I found a cute and colorful alternative to the original that is just too fun!

Finally, I'm crushing on cute easy hairstyles. This is a twist on the modern ponytail that still makes you look super put together while only taking you a couple of minutes to execute!

Pre-Colombian

I bought this poncho a couple of months ago while I was in Colombia. I love the way the different patterns interweave throughout. I added the belt to make it a bit more form fitting but have also worn the poncho with a sweater underneath and boyfriend jeans for a cute laid back look!
