Hey babes! Welcome to another week! Christmas is right around the corner! It's crazy! Are y'all done with all your shopping yet? Something that a lot of you may be looking for are new swimsuits! I know I always head for warmer weather during Christmas and many of my friends go on cruises. A great place to find quality swimwear is SwimSpot! They have tons of designers from Ella Moss to Splendid; as well as, tons of styles from sexy one-pieces to tankinis. I just received the Resortist Bikini from Luxe a few days ago and I'm in love! The pieces are made of quality fabrics with a lot of attention to detail. The staff at SwimSpot are also very helpful. Hey babes! Welcome to the middle of the week! I cannot believe next week is already Thanksgiving! Wow! That much closer to being able to listen to Christmas music! hahah I guarantee the Christmas Stations will be on blast the day after Thanksgiving on my Pandora! Love love love it! Something else I'm obsessed with this Fall/Winter--and most likely Spring is leather! A good leather jacket can change your look 180 degrees. Add it to a dress, maxi skirt, romper, you name it! I guarantee you that it'll give you that edge you're looking for. Also, a leather jacket lets you take some of your more warm weather pieces into the colder months!
A good blazer--or should I say a few good blazers--are essential to making it through the Fall & Winter seasons. I'm personally partial to wearing blazers all year round; but, am planning to bring them in full force as the weather starts cooling down! You should at least have 2 blazers in your wardrobe: one in an everyday wear color such as black, white, or khaki and one in a fun color to mix and match with pieces in your wardrobe. A good blazer can take a plain look to the next level. A tee and jeans topped with a fitted elbow patch blazer is one of my fave go-to outfits!
I am constantly adding to my "lists of..." in my notes app on my Iphone. From killer shoes I just saw on a blog, or a new musical artist I just discovered, to books I want to add to my reading list.
So I thought I'd do a Friday wrap-up of some current obsessions of mine! To "share the wealth" so to speak.
I am currently obsessed with this AMAZING bracelet from House of Harlow. I saw it and immediately thought I had to add it to my jewelry collection. It's a tad on the pricey side but I'll save my pennies until I can snag one! I just love the arrow cut out detail--it matches my blog name perfectly--don't you think?!
Next on my list is the George & Brother Skinny Railroad Spike Cuff. It's such a simple piece, but it's beautiful in its simplicity. It would make a great addition to an arm party. A railroad spike is totally unexpected!
Another item on my list is an Elizabeth Cole Necklace. It's actually a Gemini Zodiac necklace, but for my purposes it would be an initial necklace. It's hard to find initial necklaces that don't look like you stepped back into the 3rd grade. I love the layered circles behind the G's. The piece would be great as one of many in a layered look!
Next on my list are a pair of GORGEOUS Thierry Lasry Lively sunnies. They are to die for! I'm obsessed! A girl can never have too many pairs of sunglasses. I need to add these to my Spring Sunnies rotation. Do you have any sunnies you're gushing over?!
Onto the books! I have a list about a mile long that keeps getting longer! Call me a nerd--but I absolutely adore books! Stepping into a fantasy world that is half based in your own creativity is amazing! I just finished reading the Hunger Games Trilogy. It is a MUST-READ. The storyline really got to me, it sucks you in and is action packed from the very beginning. What more can you ask for? Not to mention the movie is being released in exactly a month. So excited! I would definitely check out the series if you haven't yet! I've made all my friends-guys and girls-buy the books! Is there a book or series you love? I'd love to add more books to my list!
Last but not least I am currently obsessed with the talented Mr. Josh Harrison. He's a pop artist from Nashville. I stumbled upon him while checking out "It Will Rain" by Bruno Mars covers. He is super talented! Give him a listen!
