Hey babes! Happy Monday! This past week has been a blur! Sorry I've been a little M.I.A. I was looking for apartments in NYC. Let's just say it was not the most fun experience. Hey babes! I hope you are having a great start to your week! I spent today at my cousin's fiancé's dress fitting. Love love loved it! The whole design process is out of this world! I cannot wait to see the finished product. It's amazing how the designer takes his idea and builds it from scratch. We started with measurements and by the end of the the afternoon the bodice was ready for her to try on! Too fun! Gonna have to say this and the dessert tasting=best part of wedding planning! lol

Hey babies! Don't you just love a good denim shirt? They are great for layering and can make your outfits look different just by adding one piece! I have jumped on the denim train and have never looked back! Believe me, a good denim shirt can go a long way! Lately I have been obsessed with finding easy to do hairstyles on Pinterest! There are so many great pins out there! I love being able to do something different with my hair than just the normal topknot and ponytail!

Anticipation

Hey babes! How was y'alls weekend? Mine was crazy fun! I had spent all of last week dying for my brother to come home for the weekend! My parent's had bought him a Jeep Wrangler for graduation and I was dying for him to see it! We went and got it on Monday--and like I said, once I have a gift for someone I cannot wait to give it them--so you can see my dilemma! hahah It was great though. We went to a party store and got a huge banner that said "Congrat's Grad" and some balloons! The expression on his face was totally worth it! It's a month early; but, it's okay! I'm a proud sister!

I Never Saw You Coming

Happy Wednesday Lovebugs! I've been searching for a utility jacket for ages. When I saw this red version I was sold! The color pops and adds a little something extra to the regular ol' utility! Right now in Texas it's chilly in the mornings and in the high 70's by the afternoon. Needless to say, I'm honing my layering skills! Love a good chambray to wear underneath sweaters and jackets!

RED

After twenty-some-odd years of blue, I have decided that RED is my new favorite color! Hahah Maybe it is just a phase; but, I'm in serious love. This weekend while doing some major damage---of the retail kind, I picked up this red Kate Spade bag! I'm obsessed! As soon as I walked in the store I knew I had to have it. And what else pray-tell did I purchase? A matching red wallet. That was a total coincidence though---I promise---I have been wanting a large red wallet for some time and there it happened to be as well. A match made in heaven, for sure!

Who's That Girl?! It's Jess!

Hola dolls! Happy Tuesday! I'm feeling a bit "New Girl" in my look today! Hence the title! I hope your week has started out on a positive note! Hey babes! I finally got my hands on a pair of white skinnies and I'm soo excited! I love how versatile they are and the crisp touch they give to your look! On another note, have y'all seen the trailer for The Great Gatsby?! I think it looks amazing! For one, I love Leonardo DiCaprio and for two the casts wardrobe looks stunning! I feel like it's so far away! Going to have to read the book again before it comes out!
